The 2017 Tour of Somerville featured a live stream viewable on a number of platforms including YouTube and Twitch. Various cameras were positioned at strategic locations throughout the race course. There have been a number of countries represented in the race, including the Canadian women's team that won in 2016 and team Guyana who have had a number of countrymen attend the race to support their team. For the first time, people from around the world were able to watch this classic race event live. The live stream included Joe Saling's race announcements as well as additional race day coverage.
The race was viewed in 50 Staes and 45 Contries. Over 10,500 people watched the broadcast during and after the event. The event continues to have viewers to this day.
